I grew up in the Midwest, married my high school sweetheart, and started a family while embarking on a career in the U.S. Navy. Military life took us across the U.S. and took me around the world, from Europe and the Middle East to Australia.

After active duty, I continued supporting the Navy in ship and aircraft carrier maintenance, logistics, and training systems. The work demanded creative problem-solving—something I’ve always enjoyed—even if it wasn’t outwardly artistic.

I’ve long been drawn to art and photography. Though time and travel kept my photo collection smaller than you might expect, every image has a story behind it.
